PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Sans isn't really a touchy-feely guy, though he might allow a hug under certain circumstances. If you try to grab him out of the blue, he's going to try to duck or teleport out of the way, and sudden surprising contact in general gets him to at least tense up (unless you're Papyrus). As a skeleton, he feels more round than a skeleton has any right to be, incidentally, unless you push hard enough, and then it's just hugging a skeleton and it's weird and also rude?

ROMANCE/FLIRTING: You can flirt with him all you want, but he's very unlikely to take it seriously and will probably just start making jokes about it. As for an actual relationship, that's pretty unlikely. You can try all you want, though! Sans is 30 years old.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Sans only has one HP. If someone hits him with intent to harm him, they will kill him. This does mean that if I don't want Sans to die, I have to have him dodge every attack thrown at him. Considering permanent death isn't a thing in Austice, this isn't as necessary, but I'd still like to keep Sans from dying constantly, so I don't mean anything bad about your character if he ducks their attack! It just needs to be done to keep Sans from temporarily dying. Sans is vulnerable to the intent of those who attack him. The more you want to hurt him, the more damage you will do if you successfully hit him.

As a rule, Sans does not want to fight. If forced under normal circumstances, he's going to try to dodge and escape. He's very good at dodging, because at home if he got hit even once he would die. He's faster on his feet than he looks, and he can teleport to dodge or just leave immediately, which is what he's likely to do.

Sans does not remember his combat magic beyond basic bone magic. On the one hand, it means he is not going to get involved in a fight at all unless he has no other choice. On the other hand, he's only forgotten how to use it--he still has access to his combat magic, and it reacts to intent. If a character corners him and makes him desperate enough and he can't teleport out, he is likely to bombard his attacker with uncontrolled, very dangerous magical attacks. Still, you'd really have to go out of your way to get Sans to attack you. He doesn't want to be involved in a fight, thanks.

DEATH: If you want to (temporarily) kill Sans, please talk it over with me first. I'm not against it, but I like to know how that sort of thing is going to work out ahead of time.

PSYCHIC ABILITIES: Sans doesn't have mental shielding, but he's very observant, and if he gets any idea that you're poking around in his head he's going to be upset and stay away from you. If your character is going to read his mind, just let me know so I can tell you more of his thoughts.

MAGIC/ETC.: As a monster, Sans is made almost entirely of magic. He feels a lot more magically powerful than you'd probably expect, considering his attitude... Sans does not give off any sort of undead aura, as he is not undead. He's a skeleton-shaped monster, not a reanimated skeleton.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & CONTENT WARNINGS: The subjects of time loops, time magic, and unreality are likely to come up. I should be able to note when it happens, and Sans would rather not bring it up, especially since he's from a timeline where things are going pretty well, but it's always possible it could come up especially given the semi-horror nature of Austice.

Additionally, Sans is depressed and nihilistic. This is also very likely to come up, and I will warn when it does. Sans is not actively suicidal, but does suffer from some suicidal ideation (ex. having the thought "it would be nice if I just didn't exist", but not having any active plans to kill himself). I will absolutely warn for any of this if it comes up, and in general I should be able to avoid this in a thread, because Sans absolutely does not want to talk about it. With his memory loss, Sans is actually not as depressed as he might otherwise be, so at least as long as he doesn't remember he's twice-removed from his home world, this should be even easier to dodge.

TAGGING TIMES/STYLE: I'm in EST; I tag more during the evening but I might tag at any moment if I have enough time to shoot something out. I will try to get back to you as soon as possible!

BACKTAGGING: I'm fine with this unless it gets really old. If it's not plot-important I might drop it, but you can always ask me and we can work out OOCly how things would have ended.

FOURTHWALLING: In general being like "I think you're a video game character" is fine. I don't want people knowing Sans's life specifically, though, because being secretive is kind of his thing.

THREADHOPPING/JACKING: This is fine with me as long as the post is open and it's okay with whoever I'm threading with and whoever made the initial post, if that happens to be a different, third person. You can always threadhop on open posts I make!

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & CONTENT WARNINGS: Please warn for eye gore. Since Sans is a skeleton, touching his eye sockets and even sticking your hand in is fine--it's specifically damage to eyeballs that bothers me.

ANYTHING ELSE: Sans prefers to use comic sans font in his writing. If you don't want to see that, please comment here. Sans is capable of perceiving other characters' LV and EXP (how willing they are to murder and how many times they've murdered someone). I've created an opt-in for that here with a more detailed explanation.
