☄ First Impressions

♚ VISUAL: It's Sans.
♚ DEMEANOUR: Sans acts incredibly lazy. He slouches, his clothes are a mess, and he doesn't seem to put effort into anything except maybe bad jokes. He gives off the impression of being a total lazybones.
♚ SOUND: Here he is.
♚ SCENT: Smells like ketchup and bones.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: Sans doesn't have mental shielding, but he's very observant, and if he gets any idea that you're poking around in his head he's going to be upset and stay away from you. If your character is going to read his mind, just let me know so I can tell you more of his thoughts.
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: As a monster, Sans is made of magic (and bones). He feels a lot more magically powerful than you'd probably expect, considering his attitude...


☄ OOC

♚ BACKTAGGING: I'm fine with this unless it gets really old. If it's not plot-important I might drop it, but you can always ask me and we can work out OOCly how things would have ended.
♚ THREADHOPPING: This is fine with me as long as the post is open and it's okay with whoever I'm threading with and whoever made the initial post, if that happens to be a different, third person. You can always threadhop on open posts I make!
♚ FOURTHWALLING: In general being like "I think you're a video game character" is fine. I don't want people knowing Sans's life specifically, though, because being secretive is kind of his thing.
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Sans isn't really a touchy-feely guy, though he might allow a hug under certain circumstances. He feels more round than a skeleton has any right to be, incidentally, unless you push hard enough, and then it's just hugging a skeleton and it's weird and also rude?
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Okay, so--if you intend to hurt him and hit him even once, Sans will die. He's only got one hit point. If you're not intending to actually hurt him--if you accidentally knock him over or if you're just play fighting or something--then he'll be okay, albeit maybe a bit bruised up (metaphorically...), and doing something like that is fine! But Sans is very aware of his limitations and he does not want to fight you or get hit by you, because for all his issues, he doesn't want to turn to dust.

If you attack Sans and he isn't upset, he's going to dodge. This is usually done via teleportation, though he's quicker on his feet than you'd suspect. If this is just a sudden, random fight, having him dodge everything will be necessary to keep him alive--I'm not trying to make your character seem weak. He'll try to disengage, either by calming the other character down or just by leaving.

If you and Sans are in a serious fight, Sans will aim to ruin you as quickly as possible. He will attack with as much overwhelming force as he is capable of as fast as he is capable of it, he will dodge as much as he can, and he will cheat in any way he can think of. He isn't here to play fair, he's here to get this over with. The chances of your character getting Sans this upset are extraordinarily slim.

If you want to kill Sans, please talk it over with me first. I'm not against it, but I like to know how that sort of thing is going to work out ahead of time. As a monster, Sans turns to dust when killed.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: Extremely unlikely. Sans isn't in the right headspace for it without further development that could very well never happen, so don't expect anything. He won't recoil in horror from flirting or anything, just don't expect him to take it seriously.

Sorcerer Abilities
Subtle Spell

Your spells no longer require you to make verbal or hand gesturing movements and are undetectable unless detected by magical means.
Twinned Spell

You can cast two spells at once.
Shape Water (M)

You can use magic to control the shape of liquid, non magical water up to 5' wide by 5' tall. While utilizing this spell, you can perform one of the four actions:

• You move the water up to 5 feet in any direction. This movement doesn't cause damage.
• You cause the water to form into simple shapes and animate. This change lasts for 1 hour.
• You change the water's color or opacity. This change lasts for 1 hour.
• You freeze the water, provided there are no creatures in it. The water unfreezes in 1 hour.
Thunderclap (M)

You can use magic to blast the area around you with thunderous sound.
Burning Hands (M)

You can use magic to make your hands capable of melting objects no stronger than steel.
Earth Tremor (M)

You can use magic to force the ground around you to shake.
Misty Step (M)

You can use magic to teleport to an unoccupied space up to 30 feet away which you can see.
Web (M)

You can use magic to create a spider's web no larger than 5' x 5'.
Grease (M)

You can use magic to make the floor become extremely slippery and ignitable. Using Grease for any usage besides its officially intended purpose may end in horrendously bad results.
Haste (M)(P)

You can use magic to speed the flow of time around one person for 5 minutes. While under the effects of this spell, they can move very quickly and seem to operate outside the bounds of time to everyone else.
Wizard Abilities
Academic

When traveling, you can always find a school, a scholarly circle, or a university to stay at. They will provide you free room and board. You can choose one of your chosen spells to become highly adept in. Its effects, range, and power are doubled. Misty Step range increased to 60 feet. No longer need to be able to see desired location.
Detect Magic (M)

You can use magic to feel the presence of magically enchanted items or auras around you within 30 feet. The spell can penetrate most barriers, except for one foot of stone, one inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or three feet of wood or dirt.
Thaumaturgy (M)

You can use magic to create one of the following effects:

• Your voice booms up to three times as loud as normal for 1 minute.
• You cause flames to flicker, brighten, dim, or change color for 1 minute.
• You create an Instantaneous sound that originates from a point of your choice within range, such as a rumble of thunder, the cry of a raven, or ominous whispers.
• You instantaneously cause an unlocked door or window to fly open or slam shut.
• You alter the appearance of your eyes for 1 minute.
Comprehend Languages (M)

An object you can touch can become readable to you as long as the item has not been enchanted.
Levitate (M)

You can use magic to lift yourself up from the ground up to 10 feet in the air.
Technomancer Abilities
Information Surge (M)(P)

You gain the ability to temporarily render computerized devices within 30 feet of you inoperable for 5 minutes.
Blink (M)

You can use magic to vanish from your current plane of existence and appear in the Ethereal Plane for 1 minute, once per day. While on the Ethereal Plane, you can see and hear the plane you originated from, which is cast in shades of gray, and you can’t see anything there more than 60 feet away. You can only affect and be affected by other creatures on the Ethereal Plane. Creatures that aren’t there can’t perceive you or interact with you, unless they have the ability to do so.
Arcane Hacking (M)

You can use magic to shut down a low level spell's persistent effects by hacking into the reality around the plane it's casted into. When used, it will dispel weak shielding or cloaking magics being used defensively.
Digital Phantom (M)

You can use magic to conceal your party's presence entirely from being seen via magical means.
Technovirus (M)(P)

You can use magic to instill viral code into organic material. While focusing on this spell, you are unable to cast or utilize any other magics. You may choose one of the following effects to take hold on the creature:

• Force Hallucination: the target sees a hallucination of your choice that lasts for up to 5 minutes.
• Psychic Scream: the target feels screaming inside their head, causing them to take moderate, continual damage.
• Confusion: the target loses the ability to think rationally for 5 minutes, and may turn neutral creatures hostile, have them perform in odd and unfamiliar ways, or attack party members

A small journal with an incantation written inside. Once per mission or interlude, Sans can call 1d5 skeletons to aid him in a fight. They will disappear after two hits, but are exceedingly jovial, thrilled to bits to be there, and will entertain literally every skeleton pun that Sans feels like throwing at them.
soundwave-neutralizing helmet

It sort of looks like a colander, but with two antennae that stretch upward from the crown of the device- picture the rabbit ears of an old television set. Since the focal point of the device is to neutralize soundwaves, it would give off a humming sound that modulates against the topaz's natural resonance. To hear what this would sound like, it's a binaural brainwave at the rate of about 3Hz. The downside of this is that it tends to give people some awkward headaches with prolonged exposure, so those who are more organic in nature around Sans would feel a little uncomfortable after a while.
Tankard of Potent Drink

Makes alcoholic drinks more potent; but, if you drink water from it, you immediately become sober.
aluminadium

A small chunk of pure aluminadium, received from Wash. It's normally found in Faerun tech, but in much smaller concentrations; in higher concentrations, it's an extremely powerful catalyst, reserved for only the most advanced spells in Faerun itself.
